My work at DEMX architecture is primarily developing Revit models, reviewing code requirements for industrial projects, and working through the design and construction process for the Clark Law firm (link to project page). Through the industrial projects I was able to acquire familiarity with the IBC, primarily fire separation and hazardous material storage requirements and their relationship to occupancy classification.
For the Clark Law Firm addition I helped develop construction documents, review submittals, issue ASIs, and coordinate information required for site meetings. The existing building was renovated to enclose several offices and meeting rooms, and the addition built to accommodate the principal’s office and enhance the building’s presence on Archibald Yell Blvd. Construction photos are below.
