A commission from one of my art history professors and his wife. They asked for somewhere to sit in the morning, where his son could perform with his quartet, and that it be roofed in corrugated metal.
I proposed a simple shed roof wrapped in operable boards to shield from the weather while mimicking the patterns of light from vernacular board buildings.
